Marion has taught private piano lessons for more than 30 years. She has established major practices as The Piano Studio in New York City, San Diego, Tucson, Austin, and now in New Bern, North Carolina.

She teaches all ages and skill levels in her practice – always adhering to the philosophy that learning piano should be fun for the student. She takes great pride in her developed ability to build students’ rapport. Helping students “learn how to learn” is an important principle in her teaching approach.

Marion has a music degree from Hunter College in New York City and started teaching as a teenager. She is active in the National Guild of Piano Teachers and has attended conferences with teachers from all around the US and Canada.
