ROBERT "BUZZ" TROMBLEY(acoustic guitar) “Buzz” started play guitar when he first heard bluegrass music in high
school back in Vermont. At the time, there were very few musicians who supported
this culture of music. As fate turned
out, he discovered two musicians: a guitarist and violinist, who just happened to live through the back woods of his parent’s property. He
walked the trail over to their house every week, strumming his guitar as he went. After retiring from the military, Buzz continued his love for guitar by introducing music to his children. Buzz can be found around New Bern basking in the park, playing dances, or performing with the traditional Celtic/folk group Silver Spire. Acoustic folk guitar is the focus of his teaching. This stems from his love of folk, gospel, and bluegrass. Buzz is available for new acoustic guitar students at the beginning to intermediate level. Return to Teachers List |
